Museums and the Web

 

Museums have much to learn from each other and from developers using the Web for other applications. To encourage the growth of our community, and facilitate the exchange of information, Archives & Museum Informatics organises an annual international conference exclusively about Museums and the Web.

MW is the largest international conference devoted to the exploration of art, science, natural and cultural heritage on-line – wherever the network may reach. It is designed by and for museum professionals, features the best work from around the world, and highlights the use of new technologies in the museum context.

MW has been held every spring since 1997. Full programs and full papers from past conferences remain available on-line.
